Books
> Dune : by Frank Herbert. Dune holds a special place in my heart as my favorite universe. You'll find traces of it woven into everything I create, often subtly referenced. As a sci-fi enthusiast, I consider Dune to possess one of the most richly detailed and intriguing worlds in the genre. Firstly, its intricate world-building offers readers a vivid and immersive experience. The complex interplay of politics, religion, and ecology within the narrative provides fertile ground for exploring deep and thought-provoking themes. Moreover, Dune boasts some of the most compelling character development I've encountered. It delves into a broad spectrum of philosophical subjects, including religion, politics, interpersonal relations, space, and warfare, making it an immersive journey of intellectual exploration into a deep and complex universe.
> The Three-Body Problem : by Liu Cixin. This novel holds the position of my second favorite sci-fi reference. With a passion for physics, astrophysics, space, and quantum physics, I've always been drawn to stories that expand the boundaries of human knowledge. "The Three-Body Problem" reminds us of the vastness of the universe and the potential for technological advancement in the near future. Each character is meticulously crafted, with their own flaws and complexities, yet integral to the story's narrative.
> The Dream of a Ridiculous Man : by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Among Dostoevsky's works, this book stands out as my favorite. It offers a profound exploration of the human condition, morality, and existential questions. The protagonist's journey vividly portrays the depths of the human psyche, showcasing Dostoevsky's profound understanding of human nature. I admire how the protagonist undergoes a spiritual awakening in his quest for higher truths. The story encompasses many of the author's recurring themes and philosophies, serving as a testament to his mature writing style and narrative prowess, particularly evident in his later works.
Video Games
> Elden Ring : As you may already know, Elden Ring is my favorite game of all time. It is the reason I'm studying video game programming. Elden Ring offers the players one of the best immersive open-world environments and best lore in video game history. the freedom to forge your own path and make impactful decisions adds so much layers of depth to the gameplay experience. Dark Fantasy isn't my favorite genre but I think FromSoftware's game are the only exception.
> Kanoguti's games : I first discovered him in one of Feldup's video and his artworks inspired me a lot to try new experimental things and helped me rethink about why I first got into game programming.
> Dark Souls : One of the only Dark Fantasy work I ever liked. Its unforgiving difficulty encourages strategic thinking and mastery of combat mechanics, providing a sense of accomplishment with each victory. As every other FromSoftware's game, this is a masterpiece imo and has once again one of the best lore.
> Fatum Betula : PS2/PS3 visuals, lowpolygon art style.
> Nier: Automata : Post apocalyptic, machine, breathtaking visuals, great narrative.
> Ghost of Tsushima : Stunning visuals, Immersive open-wold exploration, storytelling, vibrant colors, moral dilemmas, samurais.
> Final Fantasy : Memorable characters, expansive worlds, adventure, great narrative, classic.

Cinema
> Dune (2021) : As I already written above, Dune is my favorite universe. I think Denis Villeneuve has made a very great work portraying the world of Dune. The sceneries are so beautiful and also inspire a lot of my art works.
> Interstellar (2014) : This moovie is visually breathtaking. The emotional depth of all characters and the scientific accuracy in the film is what made me like it so much (maybe also because it's about space).
> Fallen Angels (1995) : Wong Kar-wai's signature visual style, characterized by lush cinematography and evocative use of color, really creates dreamlike atmosphere. The intertwining stories of love, loneliness, and longing evoke a profound sense of empathy and introspection, leaving a lasting impression on me. For me, this moovie is a cinematic masterpiece that I deeply appreciate and resonate with.
> Silent Hill (2006) : Adaptation of the iconic video game series that I also like a lot. It holds a special place in my heart for its dark and atmospheric storytelling. What captivates me most is the film's unwavering commitment to maintaining the unsettling and nightmarish ambiance of the video games. From its haunting visuals to its spine-chilling sound design, every aspect of the film contributes to its immersive and atmospheric experience. "Silent Hill" excels in creating a sense of dread and unease, leaving a lasting impression with its haunting imagery and thought-provoking themes of guilt, redemption, and the darkness within us all.
